Kansas City, Mo. — Starting in Spring of 2022, Jason’s Deli will open its doors on the first floor of the newly renovated Town Pavilion.

Jason’s Deli will remain in its current space at 1100 Main St., located directly across the street from Town Pavilion until mid-December. They will use a smaller space in Town Pavilion on Petticoat lane to launch to-go and delivery concept until their new home is fully built-out. Their to-go and delivery concept will open in January 2022 and their new home next door to the temporary space has an estimated completion in March. The transition from Lightwell to Town Pavilion will provide Jason’s Deli with a fresh new space for their customers to enjoy. As a family-owned and community-focused business, Jason’s Deli offers specialty sandwiches and other dishes crafted with high-quality, wholesome ingredients.

“We’re so excited for this opportunity to renew our look and layout while remaining in the same part of downtown that we know and love,” said Kirk Jefferies, owner of Jason’s Deli. “Town Pavilion offers the perfect accommodations for exciting, upcoming upgrades in 2022 while keeping Jason’s Deli close to the place where we’ve established so many wonderful relationships with loyal customers.”

Erin Johnston, Vice President of Retail Leasing at Copaken Brooks, represented Town Pavilion in the deal.

“Jason’s Deli is an ideal addition to Town Pavilion’s robust retail offerings,” Johnston said. “We couldn’t be more excited to see them in this new space with great features that we think customers will love, such as an expansive outdoor patio and convenient access from interior or exterior of the building.”

Town Pavilion recently unveiled new renovations, an art-focused upgrade that features several aesthetic improvements and new finishes. Improvements have dramatically transformed the building’s rotunda, lobby, and common areas with several new additions, including a staffed concierge center, upgraded retail storefronts, art-driven video walls, museum-like artwork throughout the first floor, and upgraded security features. The renovated first floor additionally offers a Scooters Coffee, Bank Midwest, Planet Sub, Plowboys BBQ, a FedEx location, and a convenience store.

“We’re proud to welcome Jason’s Deli to Town Pavilion following an exciting finish on the building’s renovations,” said Copaken Brooks Principal Jon Copaken. “We’ve continued to steadily elevate Town Pavilion’s offerings and presence in downtown Kansas City, and Jason’s Deli is an ideal fit for that continued trajectory.”
