Luxury day spa concept to open second Kansas City area location, bringing elevated wellness experience to established retail destination

Olathe, Kansas — Woodhouse Spa, a nationally recognized luxury day spa brand, is set to open a new location at 15230 W. 119th Street within Northridge Plaza in Olathe, Kansas. This marks the brand’s second location in the Kansas City metropolitan area and will occupy a 6,840-square-foot standalone building within the center.

Northridge Plaza is a well-established retail destination serving the surrounding Olathe community, offering a strong mix of national and regional tenants including Dick’s Sporting Goods, ALDI, Ross Dress for Less, U.S. Bank, Panera Bread, Chipotle, and Hallmark Gold Crown. Positioned along the active 119th Street corridor with strong visibility and convenient access to Interstate 35, the center provides excellent connectivity in one of Johnson County’s most dynamic retail trade areas.

The addition of Woodhouse Spa further enhances the center’s tenant mix by introducing a premium wellness offering to complement the existing lineup of retail, dining, and service uses.

Woodhouse Spa is known for its tranquil environments and comprehensive menu of spa services, including massage therapies, facials, body treatments, and wellness experiences designed to promote relaxation and rejuvenation. With locations across the United States, the brand has built a strong reputation for delivering elevated, guest-focused experiences in thoughtfully designed spaces.

The Olathe location will be owned and operated by a local husband-and-wife franchise team, with Mark and Julie Rome serving as the primary contacts. The new spa is expected to open mid- to late-September of 2026, bringing additional personal care and wellness services to the rapidly growing corridor.

“We’re excited to expand Woodhouse Spa in the Kansas City market and bring our experience to Olathe,” said Mark Rome, franchise owner. “Northridge Plaza is an outstanding location with great visibility and strong co-tenancy, and we look forward to introducing the Woodhouse experience to this community.”

“Woodhouse Spa is a great addition to Northridge Plaza and further elevates the center’s tenant mix,” said Erin Johnston, Senior Vice President of Retail Brokerage at Copaken Brooks, who represented the landlord in the lease transaction. “This concept aligns well with the property and reflects the continued demand for high-quality wellness and service-oriented uses in strong suburban locations.”

Chad LaSala, CCIM with NAI Heartland, represented Woodhouse Spa in the lease transaction.

Northridge Plaza continues to see leasing momentum, with additional inline and pad retail opportunities ranging from 2,393 to 2,465 square feet currently available for tenants seeking to join a dynamic and established shopping destination.
