Copaken Brooks Elevates CBDI Portfolio with Drastic Improvements

 In Press

Kansas City, Mo. – Copaken Brooks’ dedication to enhancing the CBDI portfolio from Dean Realty Co. has manifested into success and growth. Since taking over in 2019, tremendous progress continues to drive the portfolio forward. Notable, diverse tenants already occupy the portfolio’s properties, and contemporary improvements are consistently being made to elevate tenant and visitor experiences.

The Downtown Business Park is a remarkable example of modernized transformation. Refreshed exterior painting, removal of outdated awnings, and parking lot enhancements has put the area in high demand for industrial and office tenants. Plus, it’s now easier for visitors to find their way around with brand new address numbers and tenant signage. The Downtown Business Park currently has 76,873 SF available at 3175 Terrace.

Cambridge Business Park fulfilled key upgrades to promote a more individualized experience between its five business centers. Brand-new monument signs provide visitors with easy access, while extra security cameras around the premises ensure an extra level of safety. The Cambridge Business Park currently has 17,206 SF of office and industrial space available at 1211 W. Cambridge.

Downtown Underground received an exciting facelift with vibrant new paint and signage throughout. Entrance signage, directional and wayfinding, and light-up monument signage now help guide users to SmartStorage, office, or industrial spaces. Achievement of elevator upgrades, keyless entry, and Google Fiber Wi-Fi have enhanced accessibility and modernized user experience.

“My career has always been dedicated to the CBDI portfolio, and I’m proud to be part of the modernization that have provided remarkable success and growth to the properties at the highest standard,” said Jeremiah Dean, Leasing Manager of the Portfolio. “Chris Tschirhart, Vice President – Development and Construction, and our team works hard to allow our tenants to focus on their core business operations while being rest assured, they are occupying high quality spaces.

With a focus on innovation and progress, Copaken Brooks has positioned itself as the go-to spot in Kansas City for top industrial, office, and storage tenants. It’s quickly becoming renowned among visionaries who are ready to move their business into the future. Recent accomplishments include: elevating Superior Moving‘s new homebase, MVP signing onto an unforgettable headquarters and long-term lease deal, joining forces with Fastenal and Engineering Systems Inc., and ICONEX sealing the deal with their extended tenure lease. A staple for the city, the Kansas City Symphony, was attracted to Copaken’s growth, as well as Minnesota Elevator and ARC Document Solutions – the latter two completing five-year lease renewals.

“It is this commitment to excellence and dedication to providing an unforgettable experience that allows us to proudly showcase the diversity among our tenants and celebrate our clients’ successes,” Dean said. We look forward to continuing this mission of innovation as we continue to enhance the CBDI portfolio.
