Kansas City, Mo – Today, CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen LLP), the eighth largest accounting firm in the United States, announced its Overland Park office is relocating to Copaken Brooks’ Town Pavilion. Build-out is underway and CLA plans to move in on July 1, 2023.

“Our move to downtown Kansas City represents our commitment to serving the premier privately-held businesses, nonprofits, and state and local governments in Missouri and Kansas,” said Phil Hayes, managing principal of CLA’s Kansas City office. “This move will help us better recruit and retain talent from Kansas City and the surrounding area.”

CLA’s space in Town Pavilion spans approximately 8,000 square feet on the 34th floor.

Town Pavilion is the second-tallest habitable building in Kansas City and third tallest in the state of Missouri. The 34-story mixed-use tower occupies a full city block in downtown Kansas City on the northeast corner of 12th Street and Main Street.

Throughout 2020 and 2021, Town Pavilion’s lobby and common area received dramatic improvements including a staffed concierge center, upgraded retail storefronts, art-driven video walls, museum-like artwork throughout the first floor, and upgraded security features and equipment.

In addition, the building’s state of the art conference center received upgraded AV equipment and virtual conferencing capabilities with full room cameras. Town Pavilion’s heart of the city location in combination with the project’s leading modernization efforts delivers an uncommon tenant experience.

CLA was represented by Andrew Blaustein and Nick Suarez from Newmark. Ryan Biery, SIOR, senior vice president of brokerage at Copaken Brooks, and Rollie Fors and Brice Shamberger of CBRE collectively represented Town Pavilion.
