BIOGRAPHY

As a leader at Copaken Brooks, Annemijn is on a mission to make a real impact on the neighborhoods they are a part of while bringing strategic vision that goes beyond the bottom line. She aims to make Copaken Brooks a catalyst for positive change in the community. From supporting local businesses to spearheading projects that bring positive change, Annemijn wants Copaken Brooks to be known not just for deals and developments but for contributing to the heartbeat of the community.

Annemijn rose through the ranks of Marketing Manager; Director of Marketing and Technology; and Vice President of Administration and Marketing. As a connector for local and national media, Annemijn successfully repositioned the company as a full-service provider and increased lead generation for the brokerage, management, development, and owners representation teams. Her passion lies in the work that she does, ranging from before-and-after campaigns that showcase how the firm has transitioned properties to accommodate our region’s growth, to the launch of campaigns to bolster economic development efforts in downtown. Annemijn contributes fresh, creative strategies, leading internal and outsourced teams in marketing and RFP efforts and increasing cross-selling throughout marketing and sales strategies. She constantly looks forward to what’s next to cultivate Copaken Brooks’ book of business and amplify our impact.

In her role as Senior Vice President, Annemijn is a member of the company’s Senior Leadership Team and is responsible for Information Technology, Human Resources, and Marketing. She leads and manages internal and external teams, department initiatives and forward-thinking goals, as well as office operations. Annemijn ensures that the firm’s strong sense of purpose and vision remains clear, and she takes the initiative to understand the impact of development and the employees of Copaken Brooks have on our community and society. That vision guides her efforts and inspires her to challenge assumptions, be curious and seek opportunities for growth, remain resilient despite obstacles, and to be nimble in the face of business changes.

A former NCAA Division I tennis player at the University of Missouri, Annemijn brings strong leadership skills and a hard work ethic to any team she is part of. Her skill, tenacity, resourcefulness, and dedication to Copaken Brooks has earned her company’s vote for the CB STAR award two times.
