Lonny Stump joined Copaken Brooks in 2014 and brings more than 30 years of experience in commercial property management. He serves on the Leadership Committee, where he helps guide internal initiatives, support operational priorities, and contribute to the continued growth and success of the company.

He currently serves as the primary point of contact for property management at Lenexa City Center, including the Kiewit Campus, where he has become a trusted resource for ownership, tenants, vendors, and project partners. His leadership at Lenexa City Center reflects his ability to manage complex, high profile commercial environments with responsiveness, consistency, and a strong commitment to client service.

Lonny currently manages 880,000 square feet of office, retail and mixed-use space in Lenexa, KS. Prior to joining Copaken Brooks, Lonny managed the 909 Walnut condominiums in downtown Kansas City, a historic 35 story mixed use office tower built in 1931 and restored in the early 2000s with 162 condominium units and four floors of commercial office space.

Lonny is also a founding board member of Pitch Lenexa, a community focused initiative that brings together local stakeholders to showcase Lenexa and support civic engagement. His involvement further demonstrates his ability to build relationships, coordinate across diverse groups, and contribute to the long term success of the communities he serves.

Throughout his career, Lonny has managed millions of square feet of assets, including downtown high rise office buildings, suburban commercial office properties, retail shopping centers, and condominium associations. He is experienced in all aspects of commercial property management, including vendor negotiations and contracts, lease negotiations, annual and monthly budgets, long term capital expenditure budgets and financing alternatives, supervision of maintenance and engineering personnel, development of engineering and maintenance tracking schedules, coordination of tenant finish projects, tenant relations, and marketing of available space.

In addition to his extensive property management experience, Lonny has worked as an operations manager for an industrial products distributor, an insurance and investment advisor, operated his own business, and currently owns and manages rental property.
