Brett Brase is a seasoned financial executive serving as Executive Vice President of Finance and Asset Management at Copaken Brooks. With a strong foundation in financial analysis, construction accounting, and real estate operations, Brett brings disciplined financial leadership and strategic insight across the firm’s portfolio. He is known for aligning financial strategy with long-term asset performance, supporting complex development and acquisition initiatives, and driving cross-functional collaboration.

In his current role, Brett oversees Finance, Accounting, and Asset Management functions for Copaken Brooks. His responsibilities include leading property business planning and budgeting, serving as the primary point of contact for property investors, guiding analysts in underwriting acquisition and development proformas, and supporting asset-level strategy throughout the full lifecycle of assets—from acquisition and development through ongoing performance optimization. As a member of the firm’s executive leadership team, Brett plays an active role in shaping Copaken Brooks’ strategic direction and advancing the organization’s long-term growth.

Prior to joining Copaken Brooks, Brett spent eight years at NorthPoint Development, where he contributed to the company’s growth from a small startup into one of the nation’s premier industrial development firms. Serving as Regional Accounting Director, Brett and his team managed a portfolio of approximately 50 million square feet across 80 properties, 200 legal entities, and a diverse tenant base. He also led regional investor relations efforts, overseeing approximately $1 billion in investor equity.

Brett holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting from the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
