A true professional in every sense of the word, Ryan Biery is responsible for the leasing of more than 2 million square feet of Class “A” office space in the Kansas City metropolitan area. He joined Copaken Brooks in 1998 and currently serves as Senior Vice President of Office Leasing. Ryan continually works with various Owner’s Representatives in refining and implementing proactive tenant retention programs along with short- and long-range leasing strategies for the portfolio.

Ryan brings more than 25 years of experience in the office leasing arena having grown up in a family-owned commercial real estate business, as well as working for third-party brokerage companies that included Highwoods Forsyth Brokerage in Raleigh, North Carolina and Colliers International (formerly Grubb & Ellis | The Winbury Group) in Kansas City. His knowledge and consultative approach to business have made him a strong asset to clients who seek professional representation.

Ryan excels on both sides of the transaction with a depth of experience representing both landlords and tenants. Notable tenant representation transactions include: Marsh & McLennan, CJ Foods, Inc., McBride Lock & Associates, and Brookdale Home Health. Ryan’s experience allow him to make significant contributions in office leasing, including the successful negotiation of more than 300 leases totaling more than 2.5 million square feet.
