With nearly a decade’s worth of construction management experience, Jon joined Copaken Brooks in early 2020 as a Construction Manager. Jon has a strong background in preconstruction, estimating, project management, and business operations. Currently, Jon’s primary role within the company is to work with Copaken Brooks’ tenants and brokers to manage tenant improvement projects. Ng is also a key player in growing Copaken Brooks’ Owner’s Representation and Third Party Construction Management portfolio. Jon’s team-first mentality shines when he works hand-in-hand with our clients through every step of the process. He takes projects from inception to completion and ensures their physical vision of their business becomes a reality.

Prior to joining Copaken Brooks, Jon served as a Vice President and Director of Preconstruction for a local general contractor in Kansas City. Jon started his construction career off as an Assistant Project Manager after attending the University of Kansas and quickly climbed the ranks. His prior experience mainly included managing office, light medical, retail, and restaurant construction, both ground-up construction and tenant finish/improvements. Additionally, Jon has assisted with Owner’s Rep and Construction Management for large commercial developments, including Prairiefire Phase 1 in Overland Park, KS and Village East in Kansas City, KS.

Jon finds satisfaction in helping business owners achieve their goals as well as being able to help build communities in his home town.
